Designed by Marcel Wanders for Vista Alegre, the Blue Ming Collection is an updating of classic blue delftware and export porcelain. Wanders has been interested in the juxtaposition of antique decor morphing with new technology- a similar foray is the Dressed series for Alessi. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Vista Alegre suggests handwashing, however, as they are against heavy use of abrasives contained in dishwasher detergent on their products.
